Hadiqaa – Education City Micro-Farm community garden (Doha, Qatar)

A community garden run at the Micro-Farm inside Education City, Doha, where residents can register for a bed and grow their own food. The name Hadiqaa (حديقة) is Arabic for "garden". To make growing possible in a Gulf climate that nears 50°C in summer, it runs a year-round programme of workshops on soil, sowing, composting and winter vegetables, treating growing skills themselves as a shared asset.

A former school courtyard in Doha — the Qatar Preparatory School — converted into a community garden open to residents. It opened on 13 November 2025 as an event tied to a Qatar Museums exhibition, designed so that visitors learn hands-on about growing vegetables in Qatar's climate, composting and cutting food waste. The enclosed courtyard also provides a microclimate that suits growing in a hot, windy setting.
