Overview
Launched in 2014 by Makassar mayor Danny Pomanto, the 'Lorong Garden (Longgar)' flagship programme had residents—especially women—use the city's narrow alleys (described as the cells of the city) to grow ornamental and food plants, transforming them into clean, green spaces. It later evolved into 'Lorong Wisata'.
