A 2020 "On diseño" award jury statement assessed the CH-REURBANO project in the historic center of Mexico City. Three previously separate, abandoned buildings with differential foundation settlement were structurally unified by removing their central mass to create a shared courtyard that also functions as circulation and ventilation.
