With the development of urban agriculture and digital libraries, theoretical research and development of specialized databases on urban agriculture is described as an inevitable trend. Based on an analysis of the advantages of the urban agriculture special database built by the library of Beijing University of Agriculture, the study examines the current status and problems of that database and proposes a development path for it.
