Effect of household economic indices on sustainability of community gardens

This study surveyed 117 participants in apartment complexes in Seoul, South Korea, to analyze the effect of household economic indices on the sustainability of community gardens. Findings indicated that a higher Engel's coefficient and an increase in cultivating land size boosted prolonged participation. Additionally, older participants and those with fewer family members were found to be more proactive in community gardening.
