Urban Farm DB summary
An online survey of 277 former college student volunteers in Florida, aged 21 to 71, examined whether the length of time spent volunteering with one organization during college was associated with later civic behavior. Longer service during college was positively associated with more favorable future service attitudes, dispositions and behavior, including greater likelihood of continuing to give service, valuing service to others, and believing one could make a difference in the community.
