Urban Farm DB summary
Two 1-hour food safety curricula were developed in the United States to educate K–12 students, university farm researchers, and workers on good agricultural practices for produce grown in school gardens and university farms. The validated curricula included video modules, activities, lesson plans, quizzes, and manuals. Piloting results indicated that participants increased their food safety knowledge after engaging with these curricula.
