This study aimed to derive space planning elements for creating user-centered community spaces utilizing idle spaces in Seoul subway stations. Observation analysis with site visits, using the WELL Community certification standard, was conducted on eight continuously operating community spaces in subway stations in 2022. Findings indicated that "Pedestrian-Scale design of Movement," "Preservation of Scenic views of Mind," and "Social space and Community confidence of Community" were generally satisfied. However, "Urban Agriculture of Nourishment," "Public space of Community," and "Restorative Blue space of Mind" were not sufficiently satisfied.
