A report on the collaboration between RUAF (the urban agriculture resource centre) and The Spontaneous City International (SPcitI), begun in 2015 in the context of the Syrian refugee crisis. It focuses on the Mafraq region of northern Jordan, where an inventory of the role of food and agriculture was commissioned by the International Cooperation Agency of the Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNGI). The two organizations describe building partnerships linking urban agriculture and urban planning in cities of the Global South.
