This study used a Delphi approach with a panel of 74 experts to build consensus on outcomes for developing and evaluating school garden programs. Noting that prior evidence on school garden program effects has relied on individual case studies or intervention trials, leaving considerable room for error, it identifies 38 consensus outcomes that agricultural education professionals and other stakeholders can use as a foundation for program development and evaluation.
