Urban Farm DB summary

This study analyzed elementary teachers' attitudes, school norms, perceived behavioral control, and intent regarding the use of school gardens in their curriculum, using a quantitative survey based on the theory of planned behavior. In current teaching situations, 77% of teachers' intent to use school gardens was explained by positive school norms and teachers who garden in their personal time. It was suggested that school gardens are more likely to succeed if teachers who garden personally can mentor others and promote positive norms and attitudes.
