Based on extensive investigation and on-site inspection, this paper analyzes the current situation and problems of facility agriculture in Hangzhou City, China. In light of the requirements for urban agriculture construction and facility agriculture's development trend, it proposes countermeasures for raising technology levels and promoting the sustainable development of local facility agriculture, including facility standardization, variety customization, equipment localization, scientific technique, and specialized personnel.
