This study analyzed the status and function of urban agriculture in Kunming, China, based on the introduction of the Regional Coordinated Development Planning of Dianzhong cities. Kunming's agricultural development was found to play an important role in accelerating economic integration and maintaining harmonious economic and social development within the economic circle. The paper put forward relevant policy recommendations.
