This article maps and compares the organizational governance of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) globally, based on the first global survey of CSA partnerships. The study identifies three main types of CSA governance: community-governed farms, core group-governed partnerships, and producer-governed partnerships, demonstrating that the roles and commitment levels of consumers vary among these types. It also develops a decision-tree approach for consistent classification and describes the prevalence of governance types within and across national CSA movements.
