This article argues that school gardens, specifically the Organic School Garden project, serve as a strategic initiative for Environmental Education (EE) in Early Childhood. Using an Action-Research methodology, the project aims to address Food and Nutritional Security (FNS) laws by producing fresh food and promoting food autonomy. It concludes that this approach empowers children as agents of change, teaching them sustainable food practices.
