OpenAlex現在の日本では、少子高齢化が進み、まちの衰退が進み始めている。地方都市では、少子高齢化は既に大きな問題となっている。都心郊外の開発された住宅地、特に一戸建て住宅地でも、少子高齢化は例外ではなくなってきている。大都市郊外の住宅地についての再生の動きは、徐々に始まってきており、その方法については多くの議論がされている。住宅地再生の方法のひとつとして、民間企業の積極的活用が考えられる。行政や住民らで住宅地再生をするのは経済面、労力面、ノウハウ面などで限界が見えてきている。そのような状況で民間企業が大都市郊外住宅地の再生に関わることで、多くの問題が解決できるのではないかと考える。従って大都市郊外住宅地の再生について、企業が関わるための条件等を研究することとした。
Why it matters for urban farming
