Sustainability Concerns in Food Production, Livestock, Urbanization, and Environmental Quality in SCO Economies: Assessing the Impact of Energy Consumption

This study investigated the effects of food production, urbanization, livestock production, and energy use on environmental quality in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member economies. Using the PCS-ARDL approach, it found that food production and energy consumption positively impact environmental quality, while urbanization and livestock production negatively affect it. The results suggest a need for cohesive policies to balance these factors.
