VICCO community vegetable farm, Viwandani informal settlement (Nairobi, Kenya)

In the Sinai area of Nairobi's Viwandani informal settlement, the resident youth group VICCO farms a small plot on the bank of the Ngong River. What began as a tiny riverside vegetable patch became a regularly producing garden over about two years with support from the HealthyFoodAfrica project.
