A school- and community-garden programme run by the Municipality of Panama through the Resilience and Climate Change unit of its Directorate of Environmental Management, announced by the city in September 2024. It teaches children and residents small-scale agriculture and works to fold growing fruit, vegetables and herbs into daily routines. Don Bosco Verde Community Garden (Panama City)

A community garden opened in 2020 by the local council of Panama City's Don Bosco district. A demonstration nursery beside the Los Robles community house teaches neighbours to grow food and to start their own home gardens.
