Overview

A pioneering platform that maps and links Rome's shared community gardens; since its launch, the number of such gardens in the city has grown from 40 to more than 200.

Citizen participation

Started in 2010 as citizens' reappropriation of neglected public space. Residents jointly create and manage gardens and plots, mapped and networked through an online platform.
