Overview
An agriculture-experience project Tokyu Land opened in May 2025 on ~800 sqm of farmland in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama, for residents of its BRANZ condominiums. With shared and individual plots covering sowing to harvest, cooking and networking, it links city residents to a rural community and nature — a new model of a developer extending a condominium farming community onto rural farmland.
Citizen participation
An agriculture-experience project for residents of Tokyu Land's BRANZ condominiums, covering everything from sowing to harvest and cooking. It offers shared communal plots and owner-exclusive individual rental plots, plus harvest/food events and resident networking; full operation and the first event began in late May 2025.
Operating model
Tokyu Land partners with rental-farm operator MyFarm to run it as a resident amenity and community programme for its own condominium owners, with future plans for stay-type farms and workation facilities.
Impact
Connects city condominium residents to peri-urban farmland, fostering resident interaction and city-region ties through farming as a developer-led resident farming-community initiative.
