Citizen participation
A network of neighbourhood community vegetable gardens where residents grow food together and rebuild sharing and connection among neighbours. The municipality (organisations grouped in AITEK) and NGOs such as New Wind Association, Mahapach and local high schools support events and operations and encourage resident participation. In the Shapira neighbourhood residents also sell organic vegetables and handmade goods.
