Opened in 2008 by the Black-led grassroots network DBCFSN (founded 2006), this ~7-acre Detroit urban farm grows 30+ crops rooted in African-American food culture—collard greens, okra, hot peppers—to strengthen food security and sovereignty for Detroit's Black community.
