Overview

An NPO community garden in Yaho, Kunitachi, offering both private and shared plots. Layers farm living with childcare and neighbourhood belonging, linked to the group’s wider farm-experience sites.

Citizen participation

Choose a personal plot or join shared plot days (Thursdays / second Saturdays). Homemade compost and tools, indigo and seasonal-cooking workshops, BBQs and fire gatherings.

Operating model

NPO-run as part of a Kunitachi network linking urban farmland, childcare and farm experience. Personal plots ~¥40–60k/year; community membership ~¥33k/year (day rates available).

Impact

Roots a citizen-collaborative urban-farmland model and sustains multi-generation places centred on growing.
