Citizen participation
A grassroots organisation formed in October 2020 amid the pandemic and food insecurity. Aiming to spread community gardens to every barangay, residents take part in growing and maintaining gardens, building social ties and a sense of community in the city.

A volunteer non-profit network grounded in food democracy, the right to the city and regenerative agriculture; government bodies such as the Department of Agriculture have joined in support.
