赤峰市中心城区发展对策研究——“新赤峰”的创想与构建

This study examined the development of Chifeng city's central urban area in China, acknowledging significant achievements since 1995 but also identifying issues such as weak industrial support, water supply crises, and talent shortages. To address these, the study proposed seven specific strategies, including developing suburban urban agriculture by establishing industry-academia-research bases, aiming to build a regional central city with a million inhabitants.

Chinese urban agriculture has developed against a backdrop of multifunctionality, urbanization, industrialization, and non-agriculturalization. Since the reform and opening-up, the development of non-agricultural functions has complemented and advanced the broad modernization of urban agriculture, while simultaneously inhibiting, delaying, and destroying narrow modernization. This has led to a "reverse modernization" phenomenon in the spatial pattern of urban agriculture, characterized by changes spatially "opposite" to narrow agricultural modernization. China's current urban agriculture exhibits an overall spatial state of "reverse modernization" with various agricultural forms interspersed.

A comparative study of a concave green roof and a normal roof was conducted on building #35 at Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea. The study aimed to validate the effects on urban flood mitigation, urban heat island reduction, and food production. The concave green roof demonstrated a 60% reduction in peak flow quantity, a 3-hour delay in peak time, and stored 6.7 tons of rainwater per 140 m². A temperature difference of 27 °C was observed, and the 420 m² green roof for urban agriculture is managed by over 30 households near the campus.

This study analyzed 50 surface soil samples from urban vegetable fields in Jilin City, China, for thirteen organochlorine pesticides (OCPs). Based on soil quality standards, DDTs and chlordanes were categorized as light pollution, while HCHs showed no pollution for most samples. The study concluded that despite the presence of various OCPs residues, the soils are still safe and suitable for agricultural production.

This study, using Voice of Customer and Quality Function Deployment methods, investigated consumer behavior in fresh vegetable purchases around the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Campus in Surabaya, Indonesia, in relation to the ITS Eco Urban Farming Research Project. Findings indicated most consumers shop frequently at traditional markets, and organic vegetables are not a primary choice due to difficulty in finding them and high prices. The research identified 11 prioritized attributes for organic vegetable purchases and suggested several marketing concepts.

Effects of Urban Agriculture Program on the Formation of Family Unity and Intimacy

This research investigated the effects of an urban agriculture experience program on family unity, intimacy, and recognition of urban agriculture. The participated group showed a significant increase in family cohesion, unlike the control group, indicating agricultural experiences affected family cohesion. Participants also showed significantly increased recognition of urban agriculture and reported decreased stress, increased family unity, intimacy, and dialogue after the program.

Using Beijing Little Donkey Farm as a case study, the RME model was applied to develop experiential tourism products, offering proposals such as integrating superior resources and focusing on tourist needs.

This study stated that urban agriculture is an emerging industry integrating primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, playing a promotional role in socio-economic development, agricultural modernization, increasing farmers' income, and healthy urban development. For the sustainable development of modern urban agriculture in Urumqi City, it was suggested that agriculture should be based as the foundation for social stability and economic development, drawing on domestic and international experiences to establish a practical, innovative, scientific, and reasonable operating model integrated with regional economic development plans.

This paper, based on the China urban agriculture development report 2013 and a SWOT analysis, studied the development of urban modern agriculture in Dalian. The study found that the agricultural industrial structure, shopping basket program, agricultural management system, land circulation, and agricultural information technology have restricted the development of Dalian's urban modern agriculture.

A study in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, South Korea, investigated 45 spontaneous agricultural lands, primarily around Mt. Gwanak, which often present risks like disaster, pollution, and landscape degradation. Using GIS, satellite images, field surveys, and interviews, the study classified these lands into six types. Three types were well-managed, while three types were in poor condition, indicating governance challenges. The research discusses the causes of these conditions and explores the potential for these lands to become community open spaces.

This study aimed to improve Biotope Area Ratio (BAR) systems to address the increasing demand for urban agriculture, particularly in residential complexes where architectural and urban planning responses are lacking. It found that existing BAR systems are limited for crop cultivation because they only consider vegetation. The research proposes expanding BAR systems to include plant growth capacity factors, such as daylight, planting interval, area, and soil depth, to better accommodate urban agriculture demands.

A qualitative classroom action research study was conducted with class X-5 at SMA Negeri 1 Paciran, Indonesia, over two cycles. The research aimed to assess the impact of school garden observations on student achievement in Biology. The study found that the average student achievement score increased from 67.58 in the first cycle to 83.58 in the second cycle, with student mastery rising from 32.26% to 90.32%. These results indicate that school garden observations can improve students' understanding of concepts and learning outcomes in Biology.

This study investigated the relationship between urban farming communities and food sovereignty in Jakarta, Bandung, and Bogor, Indonesia. The findings suggest that the discourse of food sovereignty has not been exposed to urban farming communities. This is attributed to urban farming having different historical roots and social and political characteristics compared to the food sovereignty movement.

This research analyzed the advisability and potential for beef cattle development in South Tangerang, Indonesia. Data was collected through interviews with stakeholders, observations of livestock locations, and secondary sources. The study used Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SWOT analysis to formulate development strategies, finding that waste management, biogas technology, farmer cooperative capacity building, and government land-use support are important for sustainability, farmer income, and food security.

This study investigated whether urban food growing practices in Bangalore, India's second fastest-growing city, contribute to the emergence of a more localized food system. Data was collected on input use, distribution arrangements for urban gardening products, and linkages among actors in urban and peri-urban agriculture. The study found that Bangalore's urban food growing practices conform to localized food system patterns, but this effect is incomplete due to challenges in localizing irrigation water sourcing and a lack of connectivity with the municipal government.

This paper constructed an index system for urban agriculture industry competitiveness in the Pearl River Delta and used grey correlation analysis to compare 9 cities. The results showed Foshan, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Zhongshan, and Guangzhou in descending order of competitiveness. Foshan, Huizhou, and Zhuhai were at the top, indicating strong overall agricultural industrial competitiveness.

In recent years, the popularization of mobile phones has significantly increased internet usage in rural China, leading to growing acceptance of rural e-commerce due to a wide selection of online products and freedom from market and regional constraints. As the rural e-commerce industry emerges, agricultural IoT has become a major driving force for increasing urban agricultural output, promoting rural economic development, reducing the number of agricultural workers, and increasing farmers' income. This study described and analyzed the implementation of an Urban Farming program in Made Village, Sambikerep District, Surabaya City, Indonesia, and assessed its contribution to food security for poor communities. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research found that the Urban Farming program's implementation was successful, improving food security through increased food stock and reduced food expenses. However, further improvement is needed, particularly regarding stakeholder participation.

This study surveyed 102 low-income respondents in Seoul's Shin-nae 10th apartment complex from July 1st to August 15th to inform the development of a new Welfare Community Garden model. Findings indicated that most low-income families preferred such a garden, desired nearby facilities with educational programs, and were willing to pay using a munhwa nuri card.

This study manufactured kitchen garden soil for urban agriculture and conducted a growth experiment with lettuce. Soil mixed with peatmoss, livestock manure, cocopeat, zeolite, and microbial fertilizer in a 49:35:10:5:1 ratio showed appropriate levels for pH, total nitrogen, available phosphate, cations, and salt content. In the lettuce growth experiment using this manufactured soil, leaf length increased by 21%, leaf width by 20%, chlorophyll content by 17%, and biomass by 22% compared to the control group.

Focusing on Haebangchon, an organic urban residential area in Yongsan-dong 2-ga, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, it examines how urban gardening, in its modern sense, connects with the lives of single-family home residents to improve the physical environment and foster relationships among local residents, through understanding its characteristics and spatial features.

This study evaluated daily temperatures for June-September from 2041-2070 in Seoul, projected by the RCP8.5 climate scenario, to understand climate departure implications for urban agriculture. Analysis of climate extremes and their effects on hot pepper growth revealed that while mean temperatures might depart after 2040, extreme events like heat waves and tropical nights already exceed past variability. Applying scenario data to hot pepper cultivation showed that planting and harvest dates are expected to deviate, and the maximum cultivation duration has already deviated from past variability.

This study investigated urban agricultural complex building planning to activate local communities in South Korea, focusing on the social functions of urban agriculture. Analysis revealed that domestic community gardens lack experiential, educational, food/beverage, and sales spaces compared to foreign cases. The study concluded that sustainable community gardens require long-term networks and diverse programs, along with specific spaces and programs for various generations to vitalize local characteristics.
